This one showed up in the mail today along with what was supposed to be the canopies for my Me 262 build. Turns out someone put the wrong canopies in the bag labelled Me 262 and I got some Me 109G canopies by mistake. :bang head

Anyway, looking forward to building this along with my Lancaster.

Just picked this up yesterday, along with some HaT German motorcycles. Looking forward to diving right in on this.

I got this because it is essentially a captured 40mm Bofors as sold to Poland. Just in time for the First Blood Campaign except, one sprue was heavily warped so I need to see if I will be getting a replacement.

Picked this up from the hobby shop today, it was normally 42 bucks but it was on the clearance table for 50% off, so I figured what the heck. So far all of my freelance 3D design work is in 1/700 scale, and I've done almost zero modeling in that scale. This kit comes w/ photoetch which I think is whats been the hardest part for me to design, so I figured I could build the kit and get a better feel for how the parts size out in scale on a kit.

I've found out that White Ensign Models has a large PE set for this kit, that I'm thinking about getting, again, to get a feel for how photoetch scales out. I think the price is about 20 dollars, so not too incredibly bad.

I'm not having good luck with vendors.

My birthday order from Eduard had a change of status to "waiting for stock" after I made my PayPal payment...
:hmmm I thought this only affected Lucky Models!

I was sent only part of my order (no ICM or Masterbox kits) from Hong Kong:

The 'yutes' look quite different in model form!

Shalom.

At least you got some of it. I've been waiting since January 2013 for my kits I ordered online. Ist shipment allegedly was signed for by someone in the city northwest of my city. Canada Post said it was a letter tht was signed for not a parcel. 2nd shipment from Hong kong got sent back to Hong Kong by Canada Customs. it was part of a larger order by the shop I ordered from. 3rd shipment is supposed to be in transit but I've no date as to when to expect it here. Bummer because I need the figures and replacement kits for my group builds here.

Far better to get something than nothing from an order. Hopefully you'll get the rest of your stuff soon.

Cheers from Peter

Sounds like you'll get to it before me Duke. Take lots of pics for me. (y)

Oh yeah! It's going to be started pretty soon I think, once I get done with a few of the ones currently on the workbench. You'll be able to see a lot on my Manufacturing Thread.

Sweet! I didn't know that had one of those out. I'll need to get one for my train display board that's gonna hold my armored train, Leopold gun and WC-360 engine, my Morser Karl on railcars and any other German railroad subjects that I can fit on it. Thanks for letting me know they have one.

Now to finish preparing for Orangecon.....

yeah.It has the older style indy links. I think this kit dates back to 1998. I can use either the T48 rubber chevron,or the T62 UK pattern metal chevron. Only enough end connectors for one style of track.

But,I shall buy some Panda Plastics T54E1 metal chevron tracks,as the IDF usually used that type.

Dave, that kit comes with individual T48 track links. Or are you stating that the kit Chad bought doesn't have any tracks at all?

Well, I came away from Orangecon with two raffle prizes and a couple pretty decent scores.

Here they are, raffle prizes first:

Decal sheet for air-to-air missiles in the US Air Force, scales 1/32, 1/48, and 1/72:

Next I won a Y-wing fighter from Star Wars. It's even my scale! Check it out:

Now my two latest scores were this L-39 for $5.00:

And finally there was this Dual-kit set of 1930's era vehicles. I got this for $20.00:

That's all my latest acquisitions for now. I got to get some shelf queens built before I start on any of these.
