Jug's King Tiger 1944

The day has arrived and i am going to attempt my first full armour build in about 8 years so here goes....

This will be the three colour ambush scheme of vehicle number 222 commanded by SS Unterscharfuhrer Kurt Sowa of the 2nd Company of the 501 Heavy tank battalion attached to the 1st SS Tank Division in the Ardennes in 1944.

Oh Boy, I almost forgot what fun building armour can be......

...have only cleaned up about 12 links with about 220 to go:stinker

Magic tracks go together pretty well, at least the ones I have done...

I wish they were magic tracks but alas! They just the old sprue based ones which I have already removed.
