For my next project I'm going to build in 1/48th scale, AM's Yal-1b and Revell's P-40B Flying Tiger. From my research, the P-40's were painted using Dupont colors. The underside was Dupont "sky", which is a light gray with a little green. Hope so anyway. Gary S.

And what's the upper sides going to be, two color camo?

Dark Earth and Dark Green, I think, in the RAF pattern like in the instructions. Gary S.

@centaur567, only the EXPORT H-81 (P-40 sent to the RAF) were painted in Dupont colors closest to what the British used. Awesome book by Dana Bell.

Yes, Gary, you are since the Flying Tiger Curtiss fighters were from RAF manufactured stock!
