Took some quick photos of this little gem to show Saul. Overall this kit looks fairly decent out of the box. But I grabbed some pe goodies for it as well.

This next bunch is the aftermarket stuff I picked up. First up is a set of EZ Rigging from Starfighter Decals.

Finally a set of PE from Eduard. This will help out the cockpit quite a bit I think

Thanks! When I was commissioned to build the kit in the 1980s, I was asked for Chinese markings. These were taken from MicroScale (before the sheet when to SuperScale) AVG P-40 sheet. I remember it being an enjoyable build even though I did not have any of the aftermarket detail sets available then.

Regards,

Good look inside Ryan. Love those prewar, yellow wings even though i can't seem to finish one.

Yeah that is sweet and I need to search evil bay in Sept to see if I can get one in 32

Yeah this kit would be a great build just straight from the box I think. Bob, I love the yellow wings also. But this one will probably get built as the Pearl Harbor bird. I've been wanting to try and build a set of planes that were there. Paul, Hasegawa is the route to go for the 1/32 kit. I think it might be the only one. Older kit but it is a very nice kit for the age.

It does look like a really nice kit-- love that instrument panel! Did a Pearl Harbor one myself a few years back...really enjoyed the build- and the kit really gave great guides for where to drill for the rigging....
