Gulf War Bradley

Looks like there is a gap.

Dang...wish I had looked at this before, looks like their are hinges on top of the Tow Launcher. :bang head

do not fill that in. that is where the links for the 25mm eject as well as the coax's shells and links

this is what is in that "hole"

fume fan, link chutes, Coax mount and feed belt. the left wall is the hatch to the commanders station.

also, this is where the Bradley Coax is different from every other M240 variant. The M240C feeds from right to left instead of the normal left to right. It is mounted so the right side of the gun is facing up. The ejection port is the oval on the bottom (side).

yes there are two hinges on the TOW launcher. Only used for maintenance.
you can see the two here... the dark vertical stripe is a Velcro strip.

Great picture Chris, thanks. (y)

Again, something that seems to be lacking on this kit that an interior set would take care of.

I might just add those hinges. :good:

I am trying to get oriented on the direction of this photo. Is the top of the photo to the top of the turret or is it looking down a hole from the top? Not real sure how it matches to the hole in the side of the turret.

Side view, to the right is the front of the turret. to the left is the wall of the commanders station.
point of view is as you are standing next to the vehicle looking up into that hole.

behind the ejection chutes and little fan is the cannon.

The kit looks great, Bob, but more impressive (in my opinion), is the amount of support and help here... Doesn't get much better does it ??

:good:

Ian.

You dang tootin' buddy!

Paul notice the curved plate the gun is mounted into? That's the back side of the front of the turret and the gun is mounted on a 90 from it's axis. Think the way the gun is mounted really throws off our POV.

Thanks for the clarification on that. That is what I thought you meant, but it just wasn't quite clicking in my 3D brain visualization.

Major construction is done. :soldier

Going to paint the Bushmaster barrel as I don't have any brass blackener. Got the fenders to put on, no biggy and then weathering. :soldier :soldier

Looks great! Remember this new paint the Army is using is very chip resistant(vertually no chips)(no rust). So don't get carried away with heavy wear and tear.
