French Indochina war LCM 3

Started the heavy rusting ,i was thinking Indochina ,hard work, humid weather ,mud, water and the French navy this would be very rusty :tomato

This is it for this stage ......next wil be the smaller rusty streaks/scratches

I used this rust from a jar

I think its great stuff.

Small update ,

Did the .50 watercooled Mg's,

Two poles to attach the antenna ,

Navigation light , heated a piece of clear plastic and pressed the end of a brush into it to create dome and a i rounded /sanded the end of a toothpick for the lamp,

Gave the hole thing a matt varnish coat ,

Next will be some washes to blend it all in .
