Everyone staying warm in this bad cold?

I was caught completely off guard by this one. Was dressed, and putting my shoes on to leave for work, when I looked out the window and just just stopped, and was like oh, its snowing. haha

I knew they had mentioned a small chance of snow, but I figured it was just going to be a dusting, that would more or less be gone by the time I left for work, and to see over an inch of snow on the ground was a really big surprise.

OMG it's snowing here!@!!
And no one has called Snow day?

Pretty good arctic blast has hit us. Snow and freezing precip in North Louisiana and just plain cold down here. We had to come in to work at 4:00 am today so that crews could check all the bridges for ice. Don't know why they wanted us to come in early but I am 2 hours ahead on my work. :woohoo:

We just had some rain come through yesterday so now the high temps for today will be getting into the high 60's, low 70's. Perfect weather to work in. Hmm, I think I'll try to get something done on the workbench...

Was -15 F on the way in to work this am...been no snow for almost three days- a new record!!!

Started snowing here at about 7 or so, and the forecasts say our area has the potential for 8-12", with snow fall rates of 2+ inches per hour, so it could get real interesting.

I had hoped to try doing a time lapse video of the snow falling, but my ancient webcam has horrible image quality, so once it got dark, the image just sucked really bad.

Ummmm,

63-68 F here all week.

48-50 at night.

It actually rained last weekend and may again today!

I love the desert!

:yipee
