Engineers Bunker to combat Walker Tanks

I've just started it, but I think you will really like the weapons
that they will be using against those pesky Walker Tanks.


Basic dollar store picture frame and foam core board.

Next layer of foam core board to give it some depth. Note the cut out for the bunker.

Styrafoam bunker and shaving cream can cover turret.

Will post more as work progresses.

Thanks Ruben,
I got more done tonight, as on Tuesdays and Thursdays my wife
and Daughter teach Swim lessons at the local pool. So that
leaves me home to model and such. Yee ha.
Here is the base, the bunker has a coat of Spackle on it, now
I have to wait for that to dry, so I can black wash and weather
it. (Ground also need to be done). I'll start with spackle mixed
with paint.

What till you see the "Ruben Round" that it fires. Tears the legs right off
those walking tanks. It is a shot round that has balls of explosives that are
tied together, that wrap around the legs of those walkers and blows them
right off. (Kinda like Bolas) three explosive balls on detcord. hmy:
You walker tank jockeys, will love what it does to the legs on your tanks.

Bolas is Balls in Spanish, perhaps you meant Bolos?

The first one makes sense too since it does take Bolas to bring down a Johnny Walker!

I know my Spanish sucks, since I haven't spoken it in 30 odd years, but
here is what I was going with:

Bolas of three weights are usually designed with two shorter cords with heavier weights, and one longer cord with a light weight. The heavier weights fly at the front parallel to each other, hit either side of the legs, and the lighter weight goes around, wrapping up the legs.

Mine will pack a little extra punch, as the cord is detenation cord and the three balls
are explosive, so when it wraps up the legs on the walkers, it will explode taking
the leg off with it.

The rounds that follow are Armor piercing and will provide the kill shots.
Of I can always use the "MIG Missles" the pretty much take them out all
on their own.

I got more work done on the bunker this weekend.

Note that all access to these bunkers is from under ground.

Glad you like my idea. I'm sure the walker tankers won't find it
so nice. :evil:
I thought they were Bolo's, but when I tried to look them up it
came out as Bola's??? :idonno
I figured my lack of Spanish for the last 30 years made me rusty,
and I must have remembered it wrong (not the 1st time I must admit).
I will have some of the (Ruben Rounds) made by tomorrow night at the
latest. I just wish I had a walker tank to show how they work.
(I can see it now, a walker tanks with an amputated let, laying on
it's side with an armor Piercing shell hole punched through it).
OUCH. :woohoo:
Might just slow them down a bit.
I have a few other "Anti Walker" traps in mind, but don't know if
I will have time to build them?
I told you guys I think out of the box. (way out usually)

Well the basic paint job is done, now I have to do the
detail work and show off the nice little "Ruben Rounds".
