You might have seen the 'DORA' in model form, but did you ever seen it in 1:6 scale?

The National War and Resistance museum/Liberty Park in Overloon [the Netherlands] now have this railroad beast in that scale...and boy does it take up some space...even in model form. :woohoo:

Greetings,Ron.

A few years ago there was a build thread on this one (or at least a 1/6 Dora). I believe he was a retired engineer, he built it outside next to his 251 and Jaguar if I recall correctly.

I was an amazing piece to watch it come together, it must be the same modeler.

I was looking for David Nivan's mouse decoy .....!!

Fantastic " model" - more like - scale replica! :coolio

Oh gee, I build one 1/72 scale Dora and everyone has to upstage me! :silly: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:   (y)

That was a joke, LOL! Seriously, that is an impressive scale replica of that gun. I wonder if it is the same one built by that British Engineer...

The YouTube clip also showed Morser Karls and the Leopold as well. Great clip; I love watching all the action on the Dora.

Thanks for posting all those pics and flic.
