Colossus-Building the Bismarck-Trumpeter 1/200th

My hat is off to you, Laurence. That looks like a huge undertaking and you are doing an incredible job. I did not look at this until today and now I will be following it to see how it turns out.

Excellent work!

Cheers,
James

Thank you James, appreciate it (y)

Although I have been a little bit quiet on the forum, I have seen your work, it's very impressive indeed :notworthy

You just keep plugging away at it Laurence!

Thanks Paul, it makes it easier when I see advice, opinions and suggestions. You have provided valuable input to this build :notworthy

Laurence, there are no words. I am amazed. What a beautiful Job so far. Blows my mind, I would never be able to do something like that (I would try a Bismarck in 1:20000 instead).

Cheers and congratulations

Alex

Thanks Alex, those are very kind words indeed.

I am sure you would be able to do this too, just like anyone else on MA, really. If you think about it as many smaller models that make a big one, there you go, it's easy :D

Thanks Gary and James :notworthy

Not much of a progress (or as much as I would have liked) but still ...

Aft section of the superstructure on the main deck. Remaining vents and associated PE now in place. Waiting for that primer. Wooden deck stained, dry and dry fitted for now.

Bow section of the superstructure, there are three levels there. Dry fitted levels 2 and 3. Working out the angles for the camo stripes.

Same section, showing the 37mm AA guns and almost all the parts in place.

Thanks for watching,
