All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

For Saturday I get to do some 1:1 scale modeling, I get to install a new garage door opener. The old one reached a point where it quit working with the remotes all together. Good thing is all the wiring was preinstalled when the house was built I just habe to keep it straight what wire is what, and the old mount will fit the new unit on the ceiling so that hassle won't be an issue.

Then I can get back to doing the rear cockpit bulkhead layout for the new Falcon cockpit. Just doing the upper most 1/3 above the top light bar to begin with. I will then add the micro detailing and base colors of paint and see how well the lighting will work.

My friend, Zac, 'allowed' me to finish the black on the fuselage, that he had already started with a 'hairy stick' !!

A little overspray to attend to then it goes back to its' owner for decalling and finishing. Thence back to me for light weathering (exhausts only as this Lanc only survived eight weeks on ops in 1944) and a final varnish.

Ian.

Thanks Dave! It's nice to know that I inspire someone now and then. You'll probably be done sooner than I am.

Gerry, thanks for the info on those. I may have to go down and pick a few of those up.

Clearing off my bench You've inspired me Mark :frantic

Uh-oh! Jungo!!! :eek:hmy: :frantic

Jungo? Not quite sure I understand this....

Youngster are ye? Ever watch "Danger Isle"

I'm just past 50, and no; I haven't seen "Danger Isle".

Dave, how about some pics of your bench cleanup? I'd love to see it as it might even keep me motivated!

Ian, looking good! I think you nailed it. Zac is gonna love this.

Got a few other little jobs done in the garage and am stiff, sore, and pretty much wiped.
