i like what you can do with plaster ,but really Hate  the mess you get from it.
Glad when al casting is done and start to build

That engine sure looks good (y)

Thanks Piet ... I'm going to look for my wiring today ... I put the fuel lines on the fuel pump last night ... :skipper 1/4" in scale is awful small ... :woohoo:

But your plaster work is very good ... Heck all your work is great .... :popcorn

Nice job Piet. That is gonna look good.

What's on the workbench today? A big mess!! I tried to get something done lately, but the mess in my hobby room has been a major downer to getting anything done. Since I was feeling a bit more human, I started some cleanup and organizing. It's a start but a lot more has to be done. I'm paying for it today too. Still, I'm going to try and get more cleanup done tomorrow so I can finally move forward on so many projects that have been sitting too long!

Nice! I'll be doing one soon also.

Does anyone make a 1:32 jeep?

I used Humbrol matt red for my P-38, tested it with some tape today, lots of paint came off it so I'm shelving it for a couple of days. That might bring the Walker Bulldog back front and center.

Monogram or Revell? I believe the Revell MASH jeep is/was 1/32 scale too but very basic.

Cheers from Peter

Last 'free' week before my boss gets back so spending more time at the bench than perhaps I should. Today I was able to:

Do my house chores (don't ask :S ), then...

1 - Gloss coat both my MGD Pontiac and the Wright Bros. Chevy.
2 - Mask (again) my 'What If' Spitfire.
3 - Get one set of tracks on to my M46 'Tiger Tank' and attach the .50cal.
4 - Get the first coat of camo on to the P-38
5 - Paint (aerosol) the 98 Taurus that I'm re-doing and also get some of the chassis, cage and suspension done as well as build-up the block.

...and now I'm cooking chicken & pasta for the Little Stormtroopers

More tomorrow, maybe.

Ian.

Not a dang thing. My studio is such a mess I don't want to go in it. On top of that we had to put our 13 year old schnauzer to sleep Saturday. He had a lipoma that became malignant.

Ian sounds like you've got a full day ... take care of them little ones ... (y)

And Kenny :( Sorry to hear ... We've lost lots of ours also ... then today I'm putting corrugated Tin around the house to keep our stay (Chula) from going under and opening the A/C duct for Her cooling ... Last month's electric bill $172.00 ... I wondered why the A/C Unit was running all the time .... I will also try to go and paint Christine's frame outside in the new Digs ... (y) Also I have to make the Cornbread & already have the Red Beans on ... :drool

Kenny, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It always hurts to say goodbye to one so loved. I also know how you feel about your hobby studio. Mine is probably just as bad since I don't want to go in there either. I've been forcing myself to get in there and do some cleanup and organizing because I'm simply fed up with it. I've been severely depressed lately and it's all because of the mess in this house and being unable to clean it due to my illness. I must be feeling better since I'm royally pissed about it and eager to get started.

Sorry to hear that Kenney. I've just come to work from a funeral for one of my coworkers. Dont feel like working though.
James

Thanks guys. Here's Schultz as a young pup with our German Shorthair Pointer.

That's always tough to do, Kenny- :(

On my bench? Nothing! It's all packed up- along all the other extraneous stuff in the house to make it ready for sale. That boulder is almost pushed to the top of the mountain- the realtor open house is Thursday, and the general open house is Sunday. We hope to sell in a week- our market is hawt! Then, it's off to Whidbey Island in Washington!
