The model is Magnetized so it can stand on base but be removed for transport ... :soldier
 
Y'all are going to have to cut me some slack this week, just landed at Sky Harbor in Phoenix AZ, dry heat my butt!

Left GSP at 0630 and got here at 1000...fast jet :rotf

Hate I couldn't bring anything to work on. Really wanting to get the P38 rocking now.

I'll be around, hope the hotel has good wifi.

It was 68 here this morning though it warmed up a bit since then. Have fun Bob!

As to what I have on the bench, lack 2 small parts from having the turret on the Falcon all revised. They will be done tonight and posts will follow for the rest of the week.

Well today I am benched. I now know what it is like to be seriously drunk while stone sober. I have a middle ear infection. Was at the computer last night finishing some things up and the 'puter table became the wall and I almost slammed into it.

Woah!!

Moving much at all last nite had me worshiping at the porcelain alter.. :sick:

I am better this morning, but still a bit woozy. Doc appointment at 10:45 to get some meds. Definitely NOT going to be dancing around the house today.

Ouch! I've never had that happen before.

I've been gradually getting back to the bench myself, slowly working on some things. There's not enough to post any pics.... yet.
 
First of two teacher staff days today before getting the kids back on Tuesday. Sad to see summer vacation end- but having a paycheck again will be nice....
 
I have been working on the Dragon Porsche Jagdtiger with zimm,it's going along nicely despite a severe lack of bench time.The plastic tracks which require glueing 5 pieces to make 2 links wasn't going to happen.So I used Fruils,which used the same 5 pieces only held together by wire which wasn't too bad,finished two runs in about a week.Got the basecoat on,but vacation is coming up.
 
Interesting that you have one of those going at the moment as well. I never located any of the 5 part Friuls, so decided to articulate the plastic parts in the kit. Made some little jigs and drilled a lot of holes in the big parts. Am doing the holes in the tiny pieces a bit at a time and assembling up the tracks. Mine are a smidge stiff, but they do articulate properly. I will only start on the tank proper once the tracks are all done. Or at least mostly done.

Wow,I certainly admire your patience !! :notworthy

I felt the same way,I did the tracks as something extra to do as I was finishing another kit.
 
I got a Dozer, P-38 and Hall's Bulldog on my mind today. Also gotta get a couple of laps around the block so I can get my beach bod back. :coolio :D
