All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Starting the migration from the garage where I've been modelling for the last two years to my (purpose built) 'Man Cave'.

About a third of the stash has made it across so far and I'm already concerned about space !! - If folks are interested I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Ian.

Ps
No pics today raining too hard to bring the camera out of the house.

The kits are all on the racks, the old corner piece is in and I've put my brand new Radio/CD/MP3 micro-system on the top (and the Bluetooth connected straight away so I can play my Spotify lists straight from my phone :dance.

Tomorrow I'll move the two workbenches across assuming there isn't another five-hour tropical downpour as there was today !!

Ian.

Waiting to see the new Digs Ian ... Meanwhile after about 41 days without rain ... We're hoping for some today ... I asked the Missus if She was going to finish up the Yard after I fixed Her mower again ... She said No as dry as it is a couple of Inches will soak right in ... :woohoo:

So the Slow But Deadly hit my bench last night ...

I'll start my parts scrapping after this mornings job ... :pilot :salute :pilot

On Sunday evening a light plane on its way to Stratford airstrip came down in the bush about 30km east of the town, which meant on Monday there was a search operation mounted. As my boss is in the UK on leave just now, I somehow ended-up with some, not all, of the post-incident reports to collate, assess and distribute.

Managed to get that done by yesterday afternoon and all the house-husband stuff was done by yesterday morning, so today....

....I build models !! :yipee

The M46, the P-38 and the Hawk already lined-up and I may even set about my 'beer wagon' aswell, all I need is a supply of good coffee and some tunes and who knows what may happen.

Ian.

Sat down last night and just did not feel like working on the boat :blink

Felt more like doing something automotive, dug out an old project and did some minor things (sand the bed and cab)

then moved on to other scale car projects

Ian, have fun! It always feels good to get some bench time!

Sherman, that bench looks like mine. Speaking of my bench, I've been away for awhile now due to a flu. The other day I felt good enough to go in and clean up the Hobby Room a little. I still have quite the distance to go and am far from done, but I can actually breathe in there now. Now I'm hoping I'll feel good enough to actually try to work on something. We'll see.

Keep going guys! Until I'm healthier, I'll be living vicariously through your progress pics!

Well, I haven't been on the bench in a few days now & needta git on there & try finishing up a few things. Seein' How I twisted me back on Tues. & can hardly stand up or even walk, I can still sit fer a bit... may give it a shot in a few...

Well...unlike everyone else in town, I am not at the racetrack to watch American Pharoah run the Travers-- I am content to sit on the couch and watch it on the tube while I add decals to the Fokker ;). I'll be glad when I live in Saratoga again and not Pharoahtoga hahaha

Watching tv with Renee who is not feeling well while working on a 1/25 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery that will be built as a USN ambulance. This started as one of my lunch builds at work.
