All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

I'm starting a new work project- painting a big resin cast prototype of a comics figure for Dark Horse. I'm about to go down to the driveway and hit a couple of these statues with some auto primer. I never use rattle cans, but this seems to be the perfect time to try it. While they're drying, I'll finish up the last IAR post and get those pics up for all to see. :coolio

Are you speaking about Dark Horse Comics? I've been past their headquarters several times. Kind of a random unmarked building.

I've never been- but comics is a dark and sleazy world. That's the outfit- I've gotta get this statue painted and shipped off by 2/2 in time for the New York City ComicCon. I can post pics after that, I think.

Celebrating my 52nd birthday !! - And drooling over the present that 'Frau' got for me.

But only because I asked (very) specifically for it (copied'n pasted the Amazon page to her inbox !!) - Also as I'm typing this a storm cell is brewing just off to the north of the village, hopefully our first proper rain in five weeks - double celebration.

Bob I think Chuck wants to know if he can use the figure he has to paint for Dark Horse comics for the figure build. Even though he can't show us anything until after it is revealed by Dark Horse, if he does a date stamp photo for the start and another for the finish, it should work as long as it is within the time frame of the group build. Clear as mud?

Watched Fury with Grace last night. :facepalm

I was kinda reluctant and told her about some of the violent scenes but she incited to watch it.

Wow what a fun time. She is one smart cookie (must get it from her mother). She asked really good questions during the whole movie.

That rocks! I also saw that movie with a friend and fellow modeler and his 13- and 11-year old children. They also asked some very intelligent questions. It's good to see you bringing her up right. She is a very talented, bright and intelligent girl.

The only thing missing from my list of symptoms is being very tired . Sounds like the flue guys .

Go see a doctor. It took a while to get through it even with the meds.
