Finally feeling a bit better. Unfortunately I just canceled an order for that Albion tool and some tubing seeing as how the model shop has sent no communications about the sale. Sent them a follow up email asking and no response. Am I being foolish to cancel if I have heard nothing from an order placed last Sunday and no answer to an email sent yesterday morning?

Unless you know the retailer or have done business with them before, you sound like you are doing the sensible thing. If they cannot respond within a weeks time it sounds like they are not too interested in your patronage. WingNuts at least sent an e-mail that my order had been taken (an automatic one) when they were closed for the holidays. Of course it took a while then to receive it, but that was expected.
Though you never know, your order could just "show up" but it sounds like you probably shouldn't count on that.

Today was Band of Brothers day at the USS Batfish ( Oklahoma's only sub ) This is veterans celebrating vets of all services. The Batfish was a WWII diesel boat that had quite a few victories during the war and was used as a training unit until around 1969. Oklahoma acquired it around 1975 and was brought up the Kerr/McGee navigation channel to the Port of Muskogee.
In the 70's there wasn't many visitors but after some extensive work and a couple of sizable donations it has become a rather nice memorial park. This link is to my slide show that shows the different displays. Sorry but they are in no set order, it's just the way P.B. loaded it.

Sick again today...
Why do I have to get sick on the nicest weekend we've had in a while! I could have been sick during the week and still worked from home.
Maybe I should go get the Friuls and at least be productive doing those damn things.

Well I've not been very active here the past few weeks. They upgraded me to deal with two incoming technical support chats at once. Honestly whoever came up with this idea needs to be drug out into the street and shot :vmad Nothing like getting overly stressed out about two mad customers at one time. Oh and I got written up yesterday because the Quality Control people who are based overseas don't like my American English. They want us to use proper English. That means no contractions or words that Americans use on a normal basis. The people that have switched over to using Proper English have seen their stats plummet. So I took today off to relax and unwind. Do some bench time and work on my resume and apply at other places that pay way more.
