I strongly recommend Hanauma Bay . Early in the morning

If you can, I also recommend the heli tour of the Island. That volcano is an incredible sight .

The family did Hanauma Bay yesterday while I was doing the Pearl Harbor tour so I missed out. We tried to go earlier in the week but everything is so crowded with it being the holidays that we got turned back. You have to go really early in the morning to be sure to get in. I'm taking the family to Pearl Harbor later today before we have to get on the plane to go home.

Nothing like spending the last day and a half of 2014 with an allergic reaction to something. No idea what I'm allergic to as I didn't eat anything to out of the ordinary. But now I am all rashy and slightly puffy. Great fun for me. Might be taking tomorrow off work to go see the Doctor.

Yeah tell me about it. But if I go to a doctor I for sure will get a note saying what was up. I really don't want to take the day off. BUt kind of hard to work when your eyes are all puffed up.

Well went to help my Daughter and Son in Law pack up as they move down to a more southerly local. Will miss them both. Couldnt just watch everyone working so I took some boxes out to the truck and evidently that is beyond my capabilities. Just waking was enough to cause me major pain after that and hard to pull in a breath. So after a couple of T-3s and an hour on the heating pad and a few hours nap I am to where I can sit. Tried to do some modeling and everything was going okay till I dropped a piece. Cant find it and cant get on hands and knees to look. So up I come to surf the net a bit while waiting for supper to cook. What a way to end the old year and start the new. In pain and drugged up. Probably not safe to have a drink either Sigh.

Just got home from the Doctor. The Dr said it was an allergic reaction to something. Gave me some drugs and said to stay home from work for two days Oh well I guess that is more benchtime for me.

It's probably the same as spending the first morning of the New Year trying to pass a kidney stone. Either that or it's a bladder infection; I can't tell. All I know is that it hurt a but and I was not enjoying it. There's still some pain so we'll see what happens the rest of today.

Glad to hear that the Doc was able to give you something for the reaction. Take it easy and enjoy the extra bench time. That's a great opportunity to get a jump start on the workbench in 2015
