Yea, we're suffering a cool down from todays 27C/74F to a horrible 20C/68F this week end. I may have to close my window :yipee
I just froze my Ar$ of reading -8 and -16C
Ps it was 32C here today
Now if that was -32C I'd say it was getting comfortable.

I remember several years ago when I was doing construction. We had to call it quits for the day due to it being -30° outside. We were trying to side a house. But the moisture in the air compressor lines was freezing by the time it went from the compressor inside to where we were working outside. That and the Hardee Plank siding was shattering from being so cold.

I'd be wimping out with them.
Ryan I loaded bombs in that temp, the bomb lift trailers had heaters on the hydraulic system to keep the fluid from freezing. Pressure valve popped on one, fluid went squirtin' about 50 ft from the trailer. I went out to look where it was landing and it was bouncing...little balls of hydraulic fluid.
Baby that's cold!

Plattsburgh Winter 76 - 77, It was -63° w/o windchill the week before I got there...
Nothing exciting like bouncing hydro fluid... just lots of frozen body parts... They kept the temp at 85° in the barracks to keep us warm. If they set it at 68° IAW USAF regs, the temp remained a nippy 50° in the rooms.
I always wondered why the IG, CAFI and other inspectors were never seen between Oct 15 and May 15? :coolio

Sounds like lots of work ...... I took today off and went railroading ...... :yipee
Some of the railroad .......
Some of the rolling stock ........ Just remember we always do it bigger down here in Texas .....
This is the Locomotive .. Wieghs in at about 1500 LBs... it has 4 motors .. one on each Axle .......
We did get on the ground once ........ all and all A very fun day Sure beat working at a Hobby Shop .....
I'll have to do this more often as two one my Customers brought stuff in and left it for me ......

Well at present I am in central Japan. I went to the hobby shop I normally got to and got some goodies that i will post when I get back. I have some nice photos of the Golden temple i went to in Kyoto on Saturday but I dont know how to upload to MA so I will post when I get back.
Here all week - last night had an earth tremor that rocked the Hotel room while I was lying on the bed. Glad I was lying down as it would have made me fall over!

Well there's a surprise !! - Got a call from my oppo this morning,
"No need to come-in, light day, the truck can do it all.... 'sorry if this messes-up your day !!"
So here's an unexpected day-off, apart from a quick trip in to town to get my license endorsed for transporting 'dangerous goods', I have a day to get back to the bench... Now where's that Catalina :idonno

Got home and the honey do list was out... I am off Wednesday - the next monday... finally get some bench time... to myself!

We have a plant right there at JohorBahra, who doesn't? When I first came on they made me get my passport to go there to deploy 10, yes only 10 PCs. I knew there had to be a better way so I developed a DVD with all our software and scripts that would add them to our domain and shipped that to them instead. Saved me that 18 hour flight, just do deploy 10 pcs...smh..
