All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Looking forward to 2 full weeks off from work. Hoping to get quite a bit of modeling done in that time.

I'll be looking at an apartment this sunday...

Good luck Barney. Hope you find something nice :zen Sarah and I had amazing luck with our new place. The manager was great to deal with and did away with the pet deposit and pet rent as well.

Chopping up the last of the leaves and blowing off the roof, not that order...hope to get it all knocked out so I can coast the rest of the holidays!

I'm off until next year! I just sold my old Spyder to a friend who lives up the street- hooray! I've got to start getting the house ready- my brother-in-law and family are coming in for Christmas tomorrow- hooray!

Say, Moon- what do you mulch up your leaves with? I used to have a Craftsman mulcher that gave me fits until it fell to pieces.

What are you using to blow off the roof? Ifind that C4 or Gelagnite does amarvelous job of blowing off a roof. VBEG You'd get a real bang out of using that stuff.

Chuck, I've turned into a Husqvarna guy, got their cheap blower that starts on the first pull and the 24hp 48" cut rider. I've been keeping up with the leaves this year except in the back yard, and I made that mistake. I'm not a bagger type either, I'd rather grind it up and leave it on the ground.

Today there is a plan to go to Sydney CBD with the lady's parents (they're with us for a 3 months visit from the UK).

Not entirely convinced it's a good idea, the forecast says 38C (some 100F), not keen on melting in the sun, I'd rather stay in the pool at home :beer

Nice tractor! I left all my beloved lawn stuff with friends back in NC- had a rear-tine tiller, chainsaw, etc. Had a push mower- it was my "home gym". :drinks , buddy!

So many of the lawn equipment is built my Murray, MTD and American Yard Products.

Don't know about chain saws...

but back when I was repairing this stuff... Toro, Wheel Horse, Lawnboy, Snapper and John Deer were the quality USA made stuff... most of the rest was the crap you buy at WallyWorld... Where the soil is sandy, you want a cast deck... stamped steel ones give out after a couple of years...

Love my Stihl saw...dependable to get me a winter's worth of firewood every fall ;)

I have a 1947 John Deere M I use to drag out the firewood and to plow the long driveway in the winter...it works pretty hard for a 66 year old piece of machinery ;)

Enjoyed a Perfect Saturday.
I'm still in my PJ's. Made a batch of my Mom's old Hamburger Rice recipe, with Peach Pie for dessert. Masking/sanding on the RC3-2. These old Hawk kits take a bunch of sanding :bang head

Finished wrapping the last package for Christmas. A swell day! :drinks

Yesterday I went to a Christmas party at my friend's church; then had a great Mass this morning. Went shopping afterwards with my wife and then we went to the movies. We saw the second Hobbit Movie: the Desolation of Smaug. What a thrill that was!

Last of the Christmas shopping to do today. Mats I'm with you, wasted Sunday just vegging out, didn't get to the garage till about 8pm and can't call it much progress then.
