All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

I've spent the vast majority of my day working on wrapping up this freelance job. I'm so close, I can taste it. Was really hoping to have it done today, but I'm rapidly running out of steam, so looks like the last couple of things will get done tomorrow morning, and then its finally done! Then I just wait for the check to show up in the mail, and move on to the next project.

Spent the day shopping for essentials for my young fella as he starts to set up house . He just got posted into Cold Lake from Trades training and is starting his real Air Force career now. Now a quick hour to relax and then out to dinner and then going to watch Alice Cooper. Its incredible that he is doing a show here in Cold Lake, but he is. And he says it is the same show as he presents in the big cities. Cant wait :yipee :yipee

Fantastic show. Just wish I had his energy. Only marred by some drunks.

Never been to any of his shows, but I did eat at his restaurant in Phoenix during the 2010 IPMS Nationals.

Yeah, they were selling beer and alcohol at the event. We were 3 seats back from the stage. Awesome show.

Armistice 2013 at Karapiro Reserve outside Cambridge in the Waikato. A combination of militaria show, model show, re-enactors.memerobilia collectors and flypast. Here's a taste:

Stearman and P-51. I've seen this guy show the P-51 three times now, and it's almost impossible to photograph his display, almost the whole sequence is at full throttle... Wonderful !!

We had a reenactment in Stillwater to honor Veteran's Day and the battles of Saratoga yesterday and then a dad' s game night...and today we went and saw Thor...gotta love all the comic books I read as a kid coming to life on the big screen!

Well I just made my third trip moving stuff to the new house today. I am just beat. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Would have rented a moving van, but it was going to run 500 bucks just to do that. Ended up being cheaper just to take multiple trips in the Blazer.

November 11. It's Remembrance Day here. Went to the Centaph for the services. Spending the rest of the day remembering old battles and having a few pints for old comrades who aren't able to have one themselves. 'tis a bittersweet day for me.

Looking at my models and figures and thinking of all that we sacrificed for freedom's call.
