Talked to my #1 child last night and I am headed to Richmond for Turkey Day with him and the daughter-in-law's family... Shannon (DIL) is a gourmet pastry chef and her whole family can cook like nobody's business... Cranberry Glazed Stuffed Pork roast, honeyed root veggie (carrots), spiced potatoes... :yipee and for desert? That is a surprise... but who cares? This girl and my sweet tooth and dear friends.

Working at the house today. I sanded down the top of the $10 dining room table we bought and stained it. Got the house cleaned up and ready to host Thanksgiving dinner.

One more day of work and then 5 days off Looking forward to my wife's turkey meal-- my favorite of the year besides my famous horseradish rubbed roast I make for Christmas

Friday the decorations go up...and wherever there isn't nor'easter weather, I hope to try and get the firewood completely knocked out!!

Going to do some chores this morning, then hit the bench along with my partner. Signed her up for 4-H and she can do modeling for 4-H project.

Yep I'm on a similar kick today - already tidied my little boys' room, next cleaning all the surfaces in the lounge and the kitchen, then a wee break for coffee with a friend, then maybe some bench time before heading in to town to collect a Buzz Lightyear for Ben's surprise present this year - amazing isn't it after all these years how Toy Story still grabs kids imagination...

...have to admit I love it too !!

Over here for work at the moment so no models happening.............though i did go to a 3 story model shop today .
Oh, baby no one does a model shop like the Japanese do.
There was a tool and an accessory for every thing u can build. Great kits as well.

hey Moon pup, a general outlet but the Tamiya kits were cheap -$ 20-25

lots of Sci Fi as well. Dragon Armour was about $30- much cheaper than Australia(60).

They had some Wing nut kits for $100 - obviously expensive. I was surprised to see them as they Don't sell them whole less and shops.
