Well we're here atthe new house and it feels great.

As far as my modelling 'stuff' is concerned it wasn't a complete success. I specifically asked the friends who kindly agreed to help us move to leave my corner alone and that I would sort all that out m'self.

No such luck. Result - roughly 80-85% of my completed builds are trashed. Not just broken, smashed and splintered. Some barely recognisable as scale models. I know, I know that what we do doesn't effect the great order of things in any measurable way, but d*mn it hurts to see projects that you've poured your heart into over weeks and months reduced to so much landfill.

Ironically the ones that have survived the carnage, have done so virtually unscathed.

Ahh well. Will just have to choke-it-down and start again, eh ??

Man do I feel your pain! Models are like our children because we labour to bring them to life.

Is there anything there that you want to replace that's out of production? Perhaps some of us might have something in our stashes that we can get to you.

Thanks all, you are very generous - But life & hobbies will go on, eh ??. I'll post some pics of my stash, new workbench, etc soon.... spent the day stripping-out the garage then re-stacking everything to create enough space for my favoured 'L' shaped workbench style.

Not just that I also managed to rack-out all my library for the first time ever !!

Well just got home from the unemployment office and have benefits all setup for the furlough. So at least I won't be completely broke. Just hope to go back to work in a week or two...

Just came back from the Scale Model Challenge show[NL]...Man,what a FANTASTIC show it was!
This is probably the best model show,and the biggest one,in the Low Countries.

On my way there I found out that I forgot my camera.

My hope is that our friend Mats took a lot of pictures from all the eye-candy to be seen there.

One thing I know is that M.A members Mats[bagge],Veerle,Erik[Dragunov] and me are on a photo together!


It was very nice to catch up with old friends and make new ones!
