Whilst stationed in Merry Olde from 78-81 I had a '62 Mini. After we basically rebuilt it, it was a hoot to drive. I am certain that your new one will be roomier, more powerful and easier to drive... However, there is something to be said for that little 857cc engine and the $15 tyres. :drinks

Thats a bummer! Still trying to decide if I'm going to go to the Atlanta show. Rick Planton & Wade Buff are going down that Friday night and coming back on Sat. I may go down w/ them, but I'm not sure yet, dont think I can afford the hotel room for the night.

Kinda bummed out . Can't make the AMPS convention this month in Atlanta & just found out that i can't make
the one in Sumter , SC in June either !!!!

Barney , you also have to realize it is now a mini BMW . Long gone are the days of the Mini Coopers and with their BMC engines . Not the same roller skate .
