A couple of winged things

I have just finished these two aircraft, both from tamiya and in 1/48th scale.
The MIG had some belts added to the seat with tamiya tape and plastic card and two tubes added to replace the smaller gun barrels. Painted in a mix of tamiya and gunze colours to represent a Russian ace in Korea.

Next I have completed the Meteor F3 a most elegant aircraft. I added some elements from a eduard zoom set in the cockpit. Brake lines added to the undercarriage and some plumbing added to the face of the engines. Painted in the new tamiya colours for RAF aircraft.

They're both beautiful. Love the Meteor and the shading and weathering is very well done.
