Construction equiptment?

Seems everyone wants to build or spectate one now- I have seen the 1/48 or so die cast toys and the occasional kit online, but where are they? is there anyone that makes kits of backhoes or lulls in a scale over the matchbox or Cat toys that hang out at the dollar tree and Wallyworld?

Question i've asked a couple of times and never got a good answer. There's some older stuff you can catch on Ebay but I've not seen much modern construction stuff. I would love to see some.

I remember as a kid there was a kit of one of the BIG Cats and a El Camino in the same box. I would love to get my hands on that again.

Resin kits you have front loaders from Mig Productions in 1/35th scale. In 1/32nd scale there are various die cast and plastic toys (same level of detail as a snap kit) that can be made into fantastic replicas with some work. Most die casts come in 1/50th scale.

Kits in model railroad scales (1:87, 1:48, 1:32) can be found.

ERTL, AMT, SpeCast, and others are brands to watch for.

Regards,

Don't forget the old Corgi stuff- that was the same scale as the Ertl toys- I will always call this stuff toys, i have boxes of 'em- I always though matchbox scale the same as HO, Ertl and corgi built things in a slightly larger scale. But they all did and some still make heavy machinery.

I am working on this little Tamiya 1/48 dozer. Will be part of the base for my 'Kate' bomber.

That's a good looking build Randy. Wish they would do more stuff like this for us. So much you can do with it.
