well this one man group build started some moons (without pubby) ago.

you know this pic already - this is the collection of British Prototype Planes so far

from left to right:

Avro 707 C (silver)
Avro 707 A (red)
Boulton Paul P.111 (yellow)
Avro 707 B (blue)
Fairey Delta FD.2
Fairey Delta FD.1

there are several to follow - and, you've guessed it - this crazy thing is going on today

Well actually I needed some excuse not to do the second sanding session on the B-2 ... so I started the Pro Resin Boulton Paul P.120, to have something different

It's an all resin birdie in 1/72 - length of this is about 4 inches - its quite similar to the P.111 (the yellow one from above)

some sanding on the seams and it should be ok

Thanks Saul Did you have a look at my stash? Also I would a Mig-21 not consider a pure Delta, but most of the others are there and waiting to be build ...

on the shelf bisie the ones you see here, you already can find a F5D Skylancer, a TF-102, a YF-102, a Mirage 2000.01, Rafale A ... and other

True the MiG-21 is a delta wing but I did not see you mention the Cutlass, Skyray, and so many others!

You are right Saul ... and a lot will folow when the brits are done

The P.120 is not very spectacular - I made some mistakes here so I had to sand a lot and the canopy did not fit in - but nothing you cant repair - so now its ready for decaling

yep, its a VAC formed kit ... I somehow like those kits

without words ...





Its a quite nice kit for a VAC formed one with a lot of detail

Nice little SBS but please add just a few words. For example, I use the scrap to make the tabs (someone may get the impression of using styrene strip bought at a store).

I always looks for thin spots and reinforce it with epoxy putty or gel type cyano-acrylate cement. Obviously, this kit didn't need that.

Last, I usually wet sand to eliminate too much dust although it creates a sludge.

OK Saul, your wish is my command ...

first row from the left:
- the fuselage piece - line out the edge to have some orientation (outlining without pic)
- cut along the edges - dont cut through just a very little pressure
- break out the piece

second row from the left:
- the outlining shows where to sand down the piece
- I'm using a very rough wet sand paper, Wet cause of the dust otherwise, rough cause its just quicker but be careful
- cutting some pieces from the left over

third row from the left:
- glue in the pieces as alignment helpers
- ah well, just a dry fit
- all pieces separated (not sanded down)

So today was Swallow day - some steps further

well, this kit does not fall together and it is a little wrapped, but some hot air and some pressing helped
