Normandy Well

My thoughts also Laura, I"m ashamed to post what I have with the figures, will have to go over your lessons again to touch up.

Very nice- but the well seems off-plumb. Did you sand the edges? Mine were pretty random and need further work. Sorry to be a noodge about it...

chuk

No I really didn't, guess since you're asking, I was suppose to do it...yeah it's all sorts of off. I'm not well practiced in these type kits. I can bust it loose and work down those edges.

Never by sorry about bringing something wrong to my attention, that's why I post stuff, atta boys are great but I want the WTFs also!

you could always say that the fundament sunk, maybe because of ants having undermined everything ... don't laugh ... i have seen similar effects because of an ant colony!

or a nasty mole dug a tunnel too close and the stones sunk!

mud pushers ... always good for an excuse, even when it's no battle damage! :mpup

don't worry about your figures ... i would have been surprised if everything worked out fine! you need to paint really a lot of figures before you acchieve the same result after a longer break!

Where did I put that pitch fork???? Looking good so far, guess I need to get mine back on line!

What have I done to those poor woman! OK got to get rid of the Groucho Marx eye brows. Any other suggestions?

Well you could put arms on her :D Otherwise not bad looking. A satin or matte finish would make it look much better. As this is only the third or fourth figure, Im left wondering is there anything you cant do right off the bat? (y) (y)

BTW wheres Hansel and Gretel??

James

looking good from here! how many layers of paint did you apply yet? more shadows and highlights would be fine!

the only thing bothering me would be that what i identified as her eyebrows! they do look too groucho marx like - you should retouch them! (EDIT: umpf - should have read your description and not just looked at the pics! )

Coming along very nicely there Moonpups

My well has a bit of warp drive on it too Im going to get the sander out as I really need to get this project going

She doesn't look as much like Groucho in person! :D Keep at it, it's coming together! (y)

Ha! that's because her head had already taken a shot from the wrong mason jar...trust me, she looked like groucho last night. (there's a joke there...2...3 jokes...)
