Cool Tony. What did you use for the pipe covering? I'm guessing tape, but if so thats white paint on it? Looks Fantastic (y) (y) (y)

James I used a narrow strip of that paper bandage tape and half lapped it as I went around the pipe.

Then wrapped it with very fine copper wire.

I had to repaint it because it got covered with the body green.

It's from the LifeColor Soviet WW II Army set. UA 237 Dark Olive and UA 238 Dark Olive Var.
There are four other colors in the set too.

Yeah it needed something to catch your eye. :lol:

Put a MIG Tri Color Filter on this morning and force dried it so I could give it a light satin sealer coat.

I think this step brought out the LifeColor Russian Olive Green and the fading I did.
Tomorrow i'll give her an over-all wash and then a pin wash.
