what colour is this ?

Any idea what this colour is on the engine cases. I come across it a lot on bikes and cars, it looks like a king of graphite maybe ?? Often see it on raw dark alloy castings like gearboxes.

You stated a color that seems to match... Graphite. My solitary opinion, of course!

Problem is colors are different to different people. To me it looks like Alclad Steel, Stainless Steel, or maybe an Iron color. But then again, I am the guy on the right in this pic.

I ended up with 2 parts satin black 1 part metallic black and 4 parts white....its not really what i was looking for but it will do the job on this bike

side case just balanced in place

Petrol tank is a nightmare, 2 parts .......might not be from the same kit they are that far apart

Unfortunately i cant do filler or blending, last time i tried the think i filled the gap 4 times and each time it just contracted as it dried . I can never get the stuff to key so as soon as i sand it, chunks fall out
