Don't mind my prior post. I'm an idiot. I was looking at the video on a small screen that made it look like it was modeled. :laugh: I think I need a vacation, evidently the long weekend wasn't long enough.

That isn't stop motion animation, it's a program that takes live action photography and adjusts it so it looks slightly fake. It's been around for a couple of years, some TV shows have used it in opening credits and a few commercials as well.

It's a very cool effect.

No you're not.

I remember the first time a saw one, it was a a few boats on a river and thought it was the best animation I ever saw. Then it dawned on me it was impossible to get the wake so smooth and I look into how it was done.

The ones that look most model like are still photos of buildings. Some look like huge N gauge towns.
