Ukrainian Rebel BMP-2

Decided I needed to do something simple so started this yesterday. Almost ready to paint. Will be doing a Ukrainian Rebel vehicle using Echelon Find Decals number 356201 Novorossian AFVs (Ukraine - Russia Crisis) Pt 8: BTR-80 & BMP-2.

This one,

Trumpeter kit. Didn't do the interior on this one, maybe next time.

lol, not enough hours in the day. I'm still on vacation so get to spend a bit more time modeling. Next week on I wont get as much done. Not doing the interior really speeded things up. Nope no Rebel flag on this one.

Well a bit of a disappointment. Put rubber band tracks on and they don't fit. So have to order some. Oh well.

Hey just a thought...have you tried putting them in some boiling water for a bit? Maybe soften them a bit where they can be stretched or better fitted. Just a thought.

I like the BMP-2 - I always thought it was a cool vehicle
