Two Bf109s in 1/32

Have had these on the go for the last couple of months, 32nd is not a scale I do often but I'm enjoying these greatly. Sorry about the amount of pictures btw. A Eduard E-7 and a Hasegawa G-2. Nothing fancy just OOB - again not quite finished but I'm nearing the line -

BEauty. Those are awesome Dave (y) (y) (y)
Cool idea with the mottling masks too. Did you cut those with a knife or hole punch? Just outstanding all around.
James

Thanks very much James, I just cut them with a knife.Took ages and there were little bits everywhere once I had finished it

Thanks guys. Christian - the kit is one of the better Eduard kits I've done - I know it has issues if you want to close the engine and gun compartments I hear but otherwise it's fine and so far I've had no problems with it. The surface details are very nice, and overall the fit is good. Perhaps if I was picky some resin wheels wouldn't go amiss.

Thanks Dave. So far I have only built one of their models ( The IL-2 ). Not comparable in 1/72 .
It has a lot of good detail but it surely did not go together like a Hasegawa kit.

Still though, the best IL-2 kit I have looked at but I have no idea where that one is on their tree of success. I have yet to consider the Italeri one ( also 1/72 ) .

Cheers, Christian B)

I would recommend any Eduard kit no matter the scale as long as you are a patient modeler cos they can be bit quirky e.g. the 1/48 FW190 can be troublesome and I had an odd time with their Mirage III. Give them a go when you can, but read a few reviews first so you have some idea of what you're getting into.

I have a good many short run products, so I expect mayhem . To date, my only completed Eduards is the IL-2 so I'm curious. I have an ME 410 in the box .
It seems the majority of modelers I know prefer the easier targets, while I have an interest in the less popular types as well.
So, I like other builder's opinions. Thanks .

Cheers, Christian B)

Well done Dave , back with a bang :) love that Hase :) the Eduard looks like that G model, what was it called Black 6 ? that crashed at Duxford ?

I heard you were on Holiday, looks lke you're making up for it now. Fine work Dave, love that mask, and it's reusable from the looks of it!

Amazing work on both those models!

I admit I am quite jealous and would love to build those kits.
