Thoughts and prayers for Joe Hudson

Hey guys,

I'm deeply touched about how you all cared about my well being. I'm feeling much better but just tired. The doctor said that it was a anxiety/panic attack. I was reliving some stressful events and fighting with them until it got the best of me. I've never had anything like this happen before. I'm the kind to just usually just put things away and try to forget about. I'm not sure if you know but I was a police officer for sometime and was in a bad accident. I've lived and seen a few bad things and the doctor said it was a tipping thing that I must have had a little stress that just filled it up and unleashed everything.

Sorry for the scare but I'm truly thankful for the thoughts and prayers.

Joe

Good to know Joe, but still, keep getting that ticker checked. :love :mpup

As some one with a myriad of health problems it is best to say " when in doubt, check it out" I am glad that every thing worked out, Joe.

Glad you're better Joe . Although a panic attack is rough ,it is better than a lot of things it resembles .

Cheers, Christian B)

I hope the stress will disipate and that you suffer no more episodes like this. I will keep you in my prayers for a little while longer.

Hi Joe

I am really glad you are ok.

I hope I am not intruding, but if you had a panic/anxiety attack severe enough to mimic a cardiac condition this should also be taken seriously and treated accordingly. There are several therapeutic options available, either through conventional medicine/psycotherapy or with more "unorthodox" (yet still very effective, in my opinion) methods like meditation, relaxation gymnastics and so on.

I would urge you to discuss these options with your physician and find out which therapy best suits you.

Again, please forgive the intrusion.

Best wishes,

Alex

Shouldn't be considered an intrusion from our resident "Doc".

I had something that I went in once (actually a couple of times), thought it was heart related. Turnred out to be acid reflux heart is fine. Biggest thing for me these days is upper back is developing arthritis. When it gets really far out of alignment is when it really bothers me. Then I twist and turn, pop and crackle till it gets the offending joint back correct and continue on. I can't stand paying one of the local overpriced quacks to run lame and really expensive tests to tell me what I already know. :smack

Hi there Joe.

Man I hope the stress gets reduced a lot and soon.

A panic attack is NO PICNIC! You can feel like you're dying and a PA can have every symptom of a major heart attack. It's just like PTSD and should be treated by professionals that are familiar with law enforcement officers. I hope you have a support group or person for this.

The general public often has no idea about what crap police see. My hat's off to every law enforcement officer because without them we'd be in anarchy.

Take care.

Cheers
