The MFH Rescue Centre

Impressive per usual! What does the box with the chain sprocket in the middle do on a 100-year-old motorbike?
That's the gearbox , there will be a chain to gear box from the rear wheel and a another from the box to the crank
you really mastered the art of painting plastic into metal to look real - looks great
Thanks but i am a fraud...this is an all metal kit :)

At the risk of boring you all silly :)
I have enough chain to do the underside run and i am 2inch short of a complete chain. There would be a second chain from crank to gearbox but that would be another 4 inches : :ph:
The bit of chain i have is the result of a spare chain kit i brought for the Crocker build, and most of the chain in this kit that should equal about 10 inch and i have managed to complete 4 inch :)
I am going to try and complete the bit i have, the second chain is completely behind a cover and not seen.
The problem is its assembled in 2 inch sections or 30 links, on the jig. Once complete on the jig there is no way to know if it will hold together until you cut it from the jig. There ate 130 riveted pins in the 30 link section and if one riveted part fails the chain breaks and its impossible to repair because of the over lap of the links , so 2 side plates under each riveted joint and you cant re rivet the pins.
Basically with the pins under size for the holes in the side plates its not possible but i am hoping i might be able to bodge another section like the bit i already have,...lol

OK, but you only could deceive me because you transfered plastic into metal with other kits.
