Tasca M4A3E2 Jumbo Cobra King

looks awesome!

can't wait to see the details on how you adjust the tension. I've always wondered about that.

Thanks for looking in fellas. I was able to take one pad (link) out of the track run and adjust it up good and tight. Looks much better now. I didn't use any glue what so ever, so they have to be handled very carfuly or they fall apart.

CB, Tasca kits are just like the real deal. they use an offset spindle on the idler to adjust tension. leave the idler and spindle unglued and adjustment is easy.

Thanks uncle Tony and Bob, I still have a little weathering to finish up yet.

I’m getting close fellas, real close.

Still a little to do, need to let paint dry for a while. Here are a couple of sneak peeks. One I get er done, I’ll take a bunch of pics on a white background.

Now tie that ammo can down before I have a rigger.

Fine work BJ even if Bob don't care for it much ;)

Thank you fellas :Hiay

Tony, I hate for you to have a rigger, but the ammo can isn't tied down in the picture of the real one ;) But thanks for the great coments buddy!

Tony,

I'd have to back John up on that one. I have seen that many times in photos when they put that board between the fenders, they were always laying roadwheels, ammo, kitbags and so on in there without tying them down, and I always wondered how they kept them from bouncing out.

Bob

Well no wonder this country hasn't been successful in a conflict since 1945.
The enemy gets more of our supplies than we do.

Oh now that is nice, real nice!

Bob my last job in the Corps was maritime prepositioning. Think floating warehouse supervisor. I would routinely "write off" ships full of equipment, as the state department, ahem, "loaned" the stuff out.

And we thought the SLPD was wasteful! :)

Dave Harper, a former member of MA who passed on a couple of years ago, had files of US military equipment that was "Disposed" of after each war and each action in foreign countries. It was sickening! No wonder we are $16 trillion in debt!
