Also pull the practice M5 Stuart out and did some weathering on the lower hull. That was quite relaxing and fun. 😌

Just wrapped up the build phase of my ODS-ish Abrams. The Kit is the old Tamiya Abrams with TWMP minus the plow. I added a few little things here and there. Sure not totally accurate but it was fun to build so Mission Success.

Lastly...Though not a scale model this project was a PitA...But rewarding in the end.

I thought it was time to post something since its been a few months and post Hurricane Helene. I didn't get much done over the summer model wise but just before the hurricane I get two projects primed. The German Brummbar and the Abrams.

Also got a new iphone so these pictures don't look quit right for some reason.

So to keep the long story short here is quick run down the events of the hurricane.
1) Lots of rain and wind.
2) Tree falls on house.
3) Tree breaks window in model/office room.
4) Two days later large branch falls from roof while removing tree from house.
5) I catch large branch with head and left hand...I'm left handed. Three staples in the head and a broke left ring finger.
6) 14 Oct operation to fix broken finger. Three pins installed.
7) Today model room reopen for business...Adrams X. Looks like I'll be able to model without much problems from "The Finger".

Here are the pictures

All and all we here in Greenwood where lucky compared to other parts of the Carolinas.

That's it for now...peace out

I meant to mention that your knoggin' looks like it's healing up nicely. Didn't notice the scar.
I can say without a doubt that in our area Greenwood and your neighborhood in particular got hit hard. Nothing like the folks up in WNC but down in your little area, wow.
Glad you're back on the work bench! Manipulating tweezers should count for PT time.
