Nice workbench Terry

By the looks of it you have 2 projects on the go and splitting your attention between the 2 ?

Throwed together this the other day to store my styrene stock, also put a handle ontop for easy transporting :)

GREAT IDEA!

Here's my new modeling/man cave. And, as you can see, I spared no expense. Yep, that's a cardboard egg case being used as a work bench. I prefer to model in comfort.
:good:
Unfortunately, I recently had to place my dad in an assisted living facility. My mom was already in a nursing home. Both suffer from dementia. As a result, I inherited their home and my daughter, grandson, and I moved in.

The work bench may not be much to get excited about, but I'd digging the new audio/video center.
It features a crankin' Yamaha audio/video receiver; Sony Super Audio CD player; Bose Acoustimass 10 surround sound system; Sony HD flat screen; Samsung blu-ray; and vintage Hitachi strobe turntable.
The turntable, which I just hooked up today, is my pride and joy. I haven't been able to listen to my classic vinyl collection in 10 years because of moving around the country. I left the turntable and about 500 albums in my parent's basement.
Now, I can blow the roof off this sucker while I model. At the moment, I'm rockin' to UFO's "Lights Out" album, circa 1977. Feels like I'm back in my dorm room.

Nice cave you got there, Randy. That's where I use to model- at the living room couch late night!
Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Or wait, got the campaign ribbon!
A man cave campaign ribbon, THAT would be cool!!!

Clear up right!

Anywhere is good as long plastic getting stuck :good:

I know what you mean Duncan, some guys think it out better than I do :drinks

Great bench, Duncan

Looks like an operating room compared to my cardboard box in front of the couch. Even if I tried a setup like that, I'd misplace something within the first five minutes. Good thing my carpet is basically white. It makes it easier to find the parts that flip out of my hands and land on it.

I decided to build 1/2 of my computer desk in the eventual library for a new work area. I've got a lot more room to work, not to mention the view ain't too bad. Ultimately it's only temporary...depending how long it takes me to finish the computer room/office. Been going for over 2 years so far! :rotf

Geez Tom! I wish my bench was that "messy"! Compared to that, I need to apply to FEMA for a Disaster Relief check for my bench! Hmmmm, someday soon I'll have to post pics of my workbench..... pics from after I clean it!
