Sherman ETO

We're going to have to thin down some OD to clean up that splattered black. gotta get that stuff where it's not splattering.

Nice effort Ian on the OD shade and the black camo brings it together.

The Tamiya Sherman is still a great kit to build with the quality equal to what is on the market today with Ryefield, Dragon and Asuka.

Ok so today it was "only" 80 degrees F (26.7 deg C for you chaps outside the US) and the humidity 'only' pushed it to 86F/30C, so I got out and managed to get a bit of re-work on this. Once I re-sprayed it with Olive Drab and then did some moderation work, I was inmpressed enough with it I thought 'Heck, this looks good like it is, no need to spray black on it!' and went with it, tell me what y'all think:

So now it's on to painting and applying the sandbag and log armor....'till then!

That does look GREAT! Let the cure for a few days due to the humidity we got going around here before moving on.

Yep have to let them sit for a bit, but that allows me time to work on other armor and the like for it

That looks a lot better,I found it tricky myself to get that black and OD camo to look right, you nailed it
I ended up preshading the black and then spraying the OD to mute the black, similar result

Ok so here is the latest. YES< there is sill ALOT of work to do! The Bow MG, the M2 .50cal, to name but two, plus there are some gaps I have to get my hands around and dee-tail paint too, but overall, she ain't looking too shabby. Have a gander:

Gonna be a shame to cover these dee-kals....

Looking great there Bruce! I really like how you did the OD. Just remember less is more on the weathering. It's far easier to add more if needed then it is to remove it.
