I think this may be the last time I use PE in 1/48. :bang head The tow cable is just laying there.

Heat the cable up, that will take some of the spring out of it.

Thanks for the tip Mike. It is a Karaya copper cable. One thing I like about them is,they don't have nearly the spring as other metal cables. I will heat this one up. :)

Looking good. :good:

I've had luck putting on a good coat of Future before whitewashing. That way it rubs off easier and you don't damage the under color.

Thanks.

Sadly,I have no true Future wax. They do not make it any more. I may try a faded, worn white look. I should experiment with that first. :java

Future never was a wax, it's an acrylic floor finish. Still available from lots of local sources including Walmart under the Pledge label.

Thanks for the link Mike.

Now I wish I had not thrown out that version. Would a clear gloss coat of anything else work before I apply the white?

A clear sealer that isn't based with what you're washing the white off with should be OK.

Looking good Zod!

I just might have to go with a 1/48 scale one. I ordered a Dragon kit through LHS but it has not come in yet. :idonno

Thanks everyone. :good: Not much in the way of updates on the model,as the weather is too cold to airbrush.

No Ken,Bob. I will not airbrush inside the truck. :stinker

Finally got her built.
