this should be fun! Thanks for sharing Romy.

Re: My Panther Auf F april '45 DB factory Berlin

Looks cool. My knowledge of the Panther F is minuscule, but I thought they where going to be made with a small turret. That one looks like a G. Is that an interim development? Also it looks like you used Tiger road wheels. Really changes the look of the beast. This is a very cool project. Looking forward learning more and seeing this progress. (y) (y) (y)

Excellent Romy,...

Cant wait for the paint ! ( that kind of rhymes doesnt it :) )

Re: My Panther Auf F april '45 DB factory Berlin

Neat. I'll have to look for Jentz' book. Did you use Tiger road wheels? They look like them, or are they different? This is pretty interesting. Something for me to keep in mind for a future build, after my A's, D's, and G. Did you use many different kits to bash this? Thanks

Re: My Panther Auf F april '45 DB factory Berlin

Hi James,
The kit is the tamiya late panther G, with the grey parts from the dragon panthers an the rest is selfbuild. The drivesprocket is from friul its for the panther II, the roadwheels and idler are from an PantherII from dragon oranje boxes

Romy

Cool, thanks Romy.

Re: My Panther Auf F april '45 DB factory Berlin

Romy , excellent research and development .

Personally I'd go with the gray , fresh out of the factory and into defense look .

What I like about Panthers is the interchangability [ new word ] , I've seen many sub variants with mix and match hulls , turrets etc.

Re: My Panther Auf F april '45 DB factory Berlin

I love the added bits, especially to the interior of the turret, I wish Dragon and others would include at least a simple breech in their kits.

Regards,
