Prague Hetzer

from what I can find reference wise on this vehicle . There were two that were done like this with the main gun removed a steel plate over the mantlet with a mg mounted in its place.
Allegedly these two vehicles took place in the Czech uprising. Unfortunately the outcome did not work out well for the Czechs in the long run. Thanks to them we have a beautiful historical piece to build with some vivid colors.
I did not do a lot of weathering on this vehicle which is designated as unit 2 because it would have been short lived.

Cool look to an iconic machine. The tracks are kinda iffy in places, but you'll nail it next time.

Even though it might not have lasted very long it still needs some TLC to bring it to life.
If nothing else a pin wash in the seams and around the base of raised details will make those areas pop out at you. A much thinned (90% thinner to color)overall wash will kill that just out of the bucket paint job look.

You might have seen this guy's build of the same Hetzer and he may of added more weathering than you care to
but it's a great example of what weathering can do to add a lot of interest to an otherwise nice model.

I was fortunate to visit the surviving Jagdpanzer 38 Czech Radio (Český Rozhlas) which is sometimes placed in front of the Český Rozhlas building where it stood guard during the uprising.
