Well:

The crate is marked "Caution-Do Not Open"

It carries the markings of the Anenerbe, the institute tasked with researching the archaeological and cultural history of the Aryan race. They became part of the SS in 1940.

The "Schwarze Sonne" or "Black Sun" was a centuries old mystical symbol. It symbolized inner strength, through knowledge.

I don't know, I never saw what's inside.
