NOVO 1/72 Gloster Whittle E28/39 Pioneer

Personally, the decals look tame already. Nice work on that! Congrats on her sitting on her landing gear, this is such a magnificent looking model already!

I added the tiny Clear Prop p/e guide part to the canopy on the RH side. I'm unsure it was worth the effort on Lazarus.
There was a tiny gap under the windscreen. All y'all know how I feel about gaps!

She's still on her nose gear, even though removing the canopy masks led to a bit of breath-holding.

I'm sure my Sweetie's Tiny Jesus had something to do with this! A customer gave him to her today.

A coat of Tamiya X-22 on the scratched-up 49-year-old canopy, and some careful Dullcote touch-up, and I'm calling "Lazarus the E28/39" done. The cockpit details I added are near impossible to discern through the thick ancient, clear plastic canopy, but I know it's all in there!

"Lazarus" came a LONG way from this starting point. A testament to the frugality of the retired model maker. I will likely finish of the 1/72 Frank Whittle figure in the near future. Too late to the ball for a ribbon, but an awful lot of Real Life went on during this Plastic Surgeon ressurrection.

Well done Chris, this looks great and i bet it being smashed up made the whole thing more fun :)
Thanks Paddy! Fun. Hmmm.......
The end result is sorta successful, but I don't think I'll smash anymore model kits after resurrecting Lazarus.
I just clearly don't like to lose.
