of mis/kia aircraft and crew of ww1 - ww2 with the odd coldwar accident originally Allied but also Axis on occasion and we also had deealins with the little surpises some still had on board names like tallboy and grand slam cookie
one of the former which i was a witness to its ability i was lucky to be far enough for me to survive but close enough for it to see and feel its power sadly some of our unit were to close..
I signed up as I'm hoping with treatment I'll can regain enough of the ability to model some of those planes i found
Some my say I had a hands-on history lesson of the actual models i built growing up one thing for sure I was moved and surpised by the ages
The Yougest a observer of 14 of RFC WW1
Oldest 87 RCAF WW2 he snuck in on a flight after the landings sadly the wrong flight

Very interesting Andy. Here's to you recovering to get building again. Very interested in your stories if anything you can share.

Welcome to the forum Andy! Hope you regain the ability to build models and can enjoy that portion of the hobby again. We have all walks of life, skill levels and many from all over the globe on here. Saul (Sharkmouth) is our resident reference guru and if asked will demonstrate his ability to give information overload.

If nothing else we all like to share our hobby and interests with any like minded person that is interested.

Welcome to the team .gif

Welcome to the Alliance Andy!! Looking forward to your contribution and wishing you all the best with the upcoming treatment.

Very interersting and I wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing your builds and learning the history behind them. WELCOME.

No worries on the building Andy, we will keep you entertained :) I cant help at the moment unless you excavated an old Bentley but its a deviation for me and i will be back on "fighting machines" soon
