"New Guy" My very first post here.

Here is the gun with the lanyard attached. This kit was nice although it had a bizillion parts. I used some PE from Eduard.

I also painted the bakelite container for the un-used powder bags. Anyone have a tip for painting bakelite? I also finished a field telephone switchboard using the ref picture in the background. The Germans made extensive use of telephones and I figured this would go with my arty assy set.

To paint bakelite I use testers enamel burnt sienna. I have also used tamiyas hull red and then dry brushed burnt sienna oil paint in the past.

You really bring a lot to life here, the different styles of hair is what jumps out at me.

Thanks for the kind words guy! As for what is next....I have 2 more arty theme dios I wanna do_One cold and one very hot! I also have a shadow box idea that is totally different. I will have to see what gets my juices flowing next week.

Finally got the aiming stake on there and also added to the sense of urgency a little by up-turning the mess kit top and putting some grub under it and turning over the canteen cup and adding spilled water. Finished up the pail with paint and made a handle for it.
