Masking the hull red, looking forward to sealing the masks and spraying the gray tomorrow until I snapped the little towed sonar array piping again. Oops!

@Heavens Eagle, I agree. I simply am VERY frugal and tend to find and buy the generic versions. On Amazon, they sell cheap glass files and they are dog poo...
This one my wife got as it was very similar in appearance to the one she got in Poland and only $1.43USD:

I bought this one for $9.99USD, not knowing the grits, but it worked a charm and made in the Czech Republic. She noticed and somehow I see it was swapped with an older item which was chipped!

I saw the DSPAIE for around $15USD for one item but have this 25 piece set for $18.99USD in my cart, simply waiting for my Prime Rewards to pull the trigger! Two of each sanding stick and five glass files.

Poland? This might be a handier option.
Yes, we plan to go there in Spring as we need to take care of the home and properties. I also will do my museums and hobby shop rounds along with meeting friends.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Decals progress on USS Guitarro for Tom. I would comment that the MicrOMir decals that come with the kit are excellent. Thin and opaque, but still respond well to Solva-Set. When I find suitable 655's for the sail, decals will be finished! I hope CPO White is pleased. He was expecting a USCG Icebreaker model.

Great looking sub!! Gary S.
Thanks Men! Tommy White and I worked together on a joint US/UK project years back. When adult beverages are served, we both behave rather badly, as it were. We vociferously disagreed about who chews who (whom) out afterwards. It is unwise for us to visit RN vessels together.
We are much calmer (?!?) now.
