Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

From Spru Bros.
The Sherman was $17.50. Not bad with the figures. It looks like a good kit. I may get some other decals for it.
I ordered some Tamiya flat white from them, but they sent me the gloss, which I had already picked up locally. ARG!
I guess I'll be using the X-21 (flat base) for a while.

A little dab will do you,

Bill

Thanks Paddy- I used one last night and realized paint doesnt slop around inside. If I get into something that looks questionable I'll put some tape over it.

Two packages today!

One from Panzer Tracts with the latest issues (one paid for by Paul Owen and the second a gift from Tom Jentz).

The second from Hubert (Dewertus) is HUGE with many books and my son received three model kits (already finished one in 40 minutes) plus a calendar and book.

Hubert also received some packages at my home. I'll let him describe what he ordered if he wants.

Photos to follow as :nopics

Regards,

Back in May I pre-ordered the PV-1 and promptly forgot about it... Guess what showed up today! AND my friend Michael sent me this Hurri II w/ masks in exchange for a CA Iman Ro.37... I know I got the best of the deal!

The update before the year is over...

My son tore into his helicopter and had it done in 40 minutes all by himself. Now he asks me about painting!

Greetings Saul;

Back in the early 80's, When I was turning a wrench for South Tuscan Aircraft we had
three of them in our bone yard. Some of the days, when I eat lunch I sat in one of
the cockpits .......... great place to eat lunch, and then after, smoke a cigarette.

.... At the time I was also going to school at Lehman Aircraft, to be a crop duster.
that was fun........ at 120knts. 13 feet of the ground dodging sorria trees,(big Cactus).

Now I fly the computer......... "O" well...... and life goes on.
