Rich, I've been looking at those Asuka/Tasca Shermans and was thinking of ordering one of the Firefly's but then this showed up in my LHS and it just happened to follow me home. As most of you know my scale of choice is the one true scale 1/72 but I have branched out into some 1/32 aircraft builds and decided it was time I tried my hand at a larger armor build. I've only done one other 1/35 armor build and that was Tamiya's ancient Panzer II back in the 1980's somewhere. :eek:ldguy

Don't know when I'll start this but when I do wish me luck! :eek:hyeah

BTW: If my wife asks why I'm building a big one I'm blaming it all on Pup for doing such an amazing job on his interior. :tomato

Interiors can be a lot of fun, even if you can't see them when done. Can't really do that with tiny stuff.

Some interesting stuff you have there James! You mention interior stuff, could you show us each of the separate parts? This really looks interesting.

Also are they 1/32nd scale to fit the Roden kits?

Here are some things that I am calling my "LATE" Christmas present and a few things I ordered. Definitely not impressed with Squadron's policies. The hassle factor and they way they have their stock "Mislabeled" as being "In Stock" when it most likely isn't, didn't set well. It kind of came across as a bit shady to me.

Anyway, here are the things I picked up. The figure I was able to locate and picked it up for a bit of a hefty price. It was sculpted by Roberto von Behr and was produced by C & D Nightmare Productions. An original cast, these are aparently almost impossible to find these days. I did a little more research and it was released back about 2008. Yeah, I got lucky. It is called "Blood Feud II".

I have a couple more figures coming from the far east, some PE from Squadron and a big Frogfoot kit coming from Canada. Curious how long all that will take. I don't expect foreign stuff to take less than 2 to 3 weeks.

A couple of years ago I bought the special Hobby 1/32 Tempest Mk V high tech kit. Unfortunately that kit became a paint mule so I thought that I would save all the extras because I wanted another try at it. I went to eBay and bought another one this week. I didn't wish to go with the high tech kit again since I already had most of the resin parts. I bought the barracuda studios resin cowling and prop update set for it because there is a fit issue with the kit parts that requires a bit of F.S.R. to get right. They both came in today.

Perusing through the box I found another box that I knew was probably the resin parts that I had messed up before but boy was I ever wrong. I got a whole bunch of engine parts, engine and cock pit parts as well as cowling parts and cockpit parts. There are enough pieces and parts to keep a highly OCD person busy for a good while.

I knew that there was going to be a resin engine for this but I was under the impression that it would be available separately. What a score!

Hey there Moon Puppy.

Small images are nice for those of us who have dial-up or don't have unlimited band-width; especially when the images are included in numerous replies. VBEG, LOL

now that is interesting! I just googled this and I guess some "groups" have modified a number of civie vehicles to get in, do the damage, and then blend in with the crowd for the escape...

Thanks Warren! It is a quite nice sculpt which is what sent me off looking for one. It is completely out of production and finding one now is going to be almost impossible. I found this one through some detective work and deduction. Won't happen again I am sure.

It will need a little work the frown marks are a little much on her forehead and the reinforcements on the boot straps can be cleaned out. Those had to be there just to be sure and get the straps to cast properly. The biggest problem will be blending the lower coat to the torso and getting the paint just right.

While I was hunting for Selene, I ran across this figure from Tailand.

It is a bit smaller but every bit as nice as the Selene sculpt. Like I said in the pic, the near human non anime face is what hooked me on this one. Hopefully there will be some more figs similar from the place I got this one. I always have appreciated miniatures of high quality.
