LOL, and none will have the mouth if I remember correctly. Your slating them for Canuck birds, right?

Actually the first will be the boars mouth. Canadian markings are pretty ordered but won't be out until January or February.

My present from my oldest boy. Cool kit.

An excellent kit, take your time. I took the interior to place in my Early Production kit for a Beutepanzer. Use a VERY high quality nipper or razor saw for the parts. A hot knife on the sprue tree may be needed at times to relieve any stress on the tiny parts caused when trying to cut or saw them loose.

A friend who, at the moment, is in the Arab Emirates, offered me a deal on his limited production parts since I couldn't make up my mind. So, I got everything! The hard part is that I can't tell what is what yet as I need to compare the parts to what is on his site (no instructions were included):

I want to do the Romanian made Dacia 1100 S.
Dacia 1100 was the first product of the first car factory in communist Romania, back in 1968. The Dacia 1100 was a Renault Gordini 8 body with a Renault 10 Major engine. My parents had one for thirty years, and what a beautiful little thing that was.

This is the Dacia 1100 - the standard model. Rear traction, disc brakes on all wheels, 4+1 speed manual.

The Dacia 1100S was basically assembled in Romania, not manufactured there. Only 50 were ever made, with half going to the Police, some were used to race and the rest sold to high ranked commies.

And a nicely restored one in a more recent photograph. The plate is not Romanian, but the car is a Dacia 1100s, not the Renault - the Dacia logo shows between the front lights.

This will be built OOB - well, at least that's the plan for now.

Cheers,

Nice! Score for the brick and mortar. Word around the house is we're going to Augusta on Thursday, I might have to check the LHS for one.

Took a huge hit to the stash fund today. You can live without cold food but who can live without plastic?
