Nice scores Saul! Looks like some great reading material.

Paul, I love that you got that Death Dealer! I'm looking for a non-collectible one to build myself. Congrats on the great score. I also love those old Samba buses. So cool!

I don't build in that scale, but from those who do; I've heard that sometimes their kits are Tamiya quality and other ones are borderline short run worth of difficulty. Still, that would be cool to see built.

I also have that T-6 kit Terry. It looks like a decent kit in the box. The pass/fail comes when you do the research and ry and build it. I don't usually worry about minor fit problems but incorrect stuff from lack of proper research tends to bury kits for me.
Let me know when you get ready to build it and maybe we can do a "Texan" build Terry.

Don't think we've seen one of those built here so...:popcorn

Looks like a nice kit, but I have heard lots of complaints about Kitty Hawk kits so we shall see.

;)
I have seen quite a few of those build up here in SA and they look good when build up

Have one in my stash and was hoping Terry's BIG GB would get a go ahead some time so I can build mine

I guess we'll find out where this falls in that range.

Maybe after the first of year. Sounds like fun.

You could join in with the Eagle and I in the "TEXAN" build after the first of the year?

:hmmm

Okay, here are a few early Christmas presents I got. the Helicopter was a gift to me; the buildings were all purchased for dirt cheap....

Revell EH-101 Merlin in 1/72 scale:

From Pegasus Hobbies, three sets of Russian log houses in 1/72 scale:

That $10.00 sticker was for all three houses, plus the Berlin House below.

Next was something I've wanted for awhile: Italeri's Berlin House in 1/72 scale:

From Verlinden, I got this NATO Aircraft Revetment in 1/72 scale:

That's all.... except one more I forgot: Hobby Boss 1/72 scale Merkava IIID (LIS). I haven't got any pics of it yet but I'll try to get one up later.

I also picked up some of this stuff to try to glue the vinyl tracks of the Schturmtiger:

You can see how it works in the "What's on the Workbench?" Thread.

Thanks all for looking in. Now if I only had the tabletop space to place all these!

Book Depository had a sale and free shipping too! Very nice book even though it lacks scale plans.

Federico sent this as a thank you for assisting with references. If you bought Dragon's 'Arab StuG', you might note it has the wrong machine gun. This is the correct one:

I've just noticed the eyes on the checkered one! Which sheet is this? I may get one if available in smaller scales.

Got this today. This was 30.00 cheaper at Freetime hobbies than the Revell one on ebay.

So this is a kit that has been on my "holy grail" list since i first discovered it online. Never thought I would see one, let alone actually get one.

It's a 1/48 Northrop N-3PB float plane. To my knowledge, the only one produced in 48 scale. It's a Vac kit and was produced by members of the IPMS Norway chapter for a short time and in limited numbers some time ago.

There is a bit of damage to a couple of the pieces but nothing that shouldn't be fixable.
